The VScan HRV is the most advanced practical and intuitive complimentary assessment tool available on the market today.
VScan’s Heart Rate Variability technology enables practitioners of all modalities to objectively look into the many regulatory systems of the body and see firsthand the efficacy of the work they do.
In roughly 3 minutes or 300 heartbeats, this technology enables insight into Autonomic Nervous System Dynamics including Cardiovascular adaptation, Neuro-Hormonal regulation and psycho-emotional balance.
Heart Rate Variability
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is the physiological phenomenon of variation in the time interval between heartbeats. It is measured by the variation in the beat-to-beat intervals. We call this the time domain. A healthy heart rate variability is reflected by considerable variation in the time domain between successive heartbeats. This would indicate a very robust autonomic nervous system.
Someone with less variation between one heartbeat to the next has low heart rate variability, indicating decreased autonomic nervous system regulation.
HRV and Spectral Analysis
The second component of Heart Rate Variability is the spectral analysis. The electrocardiogram (ECG) is broken down into very specific frequency bandwidths that correspond to specific functions. Low frequency, for example, has to do with the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight response) and high frequency has to do with parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) function. Within these various frequency bandwidths are the proprietary information unique to the VScan that can tell us information about meridians and other systems of the body that other heart rate variability technologies don’t have available.
The importance of Heart Rate Variability is that it gives a window into the autonomic nervous system and its function.
The autonomic nervous system automatically influences the visceral organs, smooth muscles such as the blood vessels and glands, and obviously a big influence on the heart. There are 2 branches to the autonomic nervous system, the sympathetic nervous system, and the parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system deals with stressful situations and is sometimes referred to as the fight or flight system and is triggered by any stress such as conscious or unconscious psycho-emotional stress, toxins, and electromagnetic influences. The opposite is the parasympathetic nervous system and is coined the rest and digest system as it is responsible for body functions like resting, breathing and digestion.
To recap, the sympathetic nervous system is involved in mobilizing energy and resources for survival and the parasympathetic nervous system is involved in conserving energy and is highly involved with digestion. One is the gas pedal and the other is the brakes.
Measuring Heart Rate Variability
Measuring a client's Heart Rate Variability before a therapeutic session establishes a “baseline” measure, aiding practitioners to better understand the needs of their client and to tailor therapies according to those needs. Following therapy, a second measure by the VScan HRV allows both practitioner and client to observe and confirm the efficacy of the therapy delivered and received.
The VScan HRV is not intended for the diagnosis of disease but rather designed to educate practitioners and clients in regards to how the body's regulatory systems are maintained based on the current internal and external environment and how they are affected by the therapy that you deliver. When the regulatory systems are balanced and functioning at peak potential, the body is better able to heal.
Are your sessions moving your clients in the right direction?
Do you need to re-evaluate and alter the course of your work?
What effect are your sessions having on your clients?
As complementary wellness practitioners step towards the inevitable future of mainstream integration, no longer can we rely on the reported, often subjective, feedback testimonials described by our clients regarding their healing process and experience.
We must integrate and utilize tools that enable our ability to objectively measure and confirm the efficacy of the therapies we deliver. VScan HRV has been designed to champion holistic, complementary integrative medicine and support its forward motion into and through the 21st century. Verification and validation of the work we do is essential to the successful future of our practices and modalities.
Application of HRV and AmpCoil
When it comes to AmpCoil we are always looking for technology that helps us gain a better understanding of the shifts and changes happening in the energetic body. Given the year we have had and that the majority of the community is seeking balance, especially through the nervous system, journeys like Relax All are a community favorite.
Relax All is considered a rejuvenating or restorative sound journey from AmpCoil’s BetterGuide Software. Users typically choose this sound journey when they are experiencing feelings of anxiousness, nervous system stress, an overactive mind, or anytime you would like to induce calming energies in the body.
Given those findings, insight from HRV and nervous system balance, we may gain valuable information on why we would want to use a rejuvenating journey, and why we would want to have ample vital force or nervous system tone before jumping into a cleanse.
When you are extremely fatigued you can't muster the energy to go to the gym. Similarly, you can't start addressing distorted frequencies that may be associated with pathogens and stressors from pathogens. It's like energetically sending the body to the gym with chronic fatigue syndrome. First, you need help charging the battery, otherwise, you’re putting excess demand on the system that is already overtaxed.
High coherence and a balanced system yields a better Gerontological Age
Sound and frequency signals delivered through AmpCoil awaken the body. The body is not a passive organism, but an active organism. The signal offered through PEMF and sound frequency has the capacity to wake up or stimulate pathogenic threats.*
Although we exist in a more toxic time than ever, our bodies have learned to manage the majority of the microorganisms and pathogenic threats that they encounter. (1) Working with tools like AmpCoil, enhances the body’s abilities to do what it's designed to do, which is to heal itself.
Our users have reported incredible success using rejuvenating journeys from the BetterGuide software as few as three times a week, including better sleep, relaxation, nervous system tone, and a reduction in pain.
In initial testing incorporating Vscan HRV we are seeing the energetic shift we know is happening in the body through advanced scientific methodology. The future looks bright with this new collaboration and relationship between these two systems.
This VScan HRV© system is designed for research and education. It should be used to see how various therapies performed in your office based on your scope of practice affect the regulatory systems seen on the HRV.
